Position Summary
The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house operations and ensuring an exceptional, refined dining experience for every guest. This role requires a leader with fine dining service experience, a strong background in staff training and development, and a deep understanding of hospitality standards. Hotel or luxury hospitality experience is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and supervise front-of-house service staff, ensuring consistent execution of fine dining service standards
- Deliver and maintain an elevated guest experience, anticipating needs and resolving concerns with professionalism and discretion
- Design, implement, and conduct ongoing service training programs, including onboarding, service standards, and guest engagement
- Maintain detailed knowledge of menu offerings, wine and beverage programs, and service sequences
- Collaborate closely with Executive Chef, Sommelier, and Management team to ensure seamless service operations
- Oversee reservations, floor plans, pacing, and staffing levels to optimize guest flow and service quality
- Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Model exemplary hospitality, appearance, and service etiquette at all times
- Assist with performance evaluations, scheduling, and team development
- Support special events, private dining, and VIP guest experiences

Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 2–4 years of high-level service experience
- Proven experience in training, coaching, and developing service teams
- Strong understanding of fine dining service techniques, wine service, and hospitality etiquette
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment
- Hotel or luxury resort dining experience is a plus
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
- Passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and guest satisfaction
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
