Cashier at Arcadia Investment, Inc. – Costa Mesa, California

Pay Range: $20.00

The Cashier / Team Member is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience while supporting overall restaurant operations. This position goes beyond operating a register and includes order accuracy, drive-thru service, food safety, cleanliness, and teamwork to ensure smooth and efficient service.

We are looking for individuals who are friendly, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Reports to the Assistant Manager and General Manager.

• Greets every guest in a friendly and courteous manner
• Takes accurate orders and uses suggestive selling when appropriate
• Enters orders into the POS system and communicates clearly with kitchen team members
• Accurately handles cash, credit card, and digital payments
• Counts register before and after shift and reports discrepancies
• Maintains proper cash handling procedures at all times
• Supports drive-thru operations, including headset communication and window service
• Works efficiently to help meet or exceed company service time standards
• Ensures order accuracy and assists in resolving guest concerns promptly
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of front counter, beverage station, dining area, and work areas
• Follows all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assists expediter, service assistant, and other team members as needed
• Participates in training when assigned
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management

• Basic math and cash handling skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain accuracy under pressure
• Must obtain a California Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire (training and certification provided and paid for by the Company in accordance with state law)

• Reaching, bending, lifting, and cleaning
• Ability to work in environments with heat, steam, cold, and kitchen odors
• Ability to work during peak business hours
