Executive Vice President of Current Content

Daily Wire is seeking an Executive Vice President of Current Content to lead the creative and strategic vision for our episodic programming, including scripted series, unscripted formats, limited series, specials, and other serialized content. This role oversees the full development pipelinefrom concept through pre-productionensuring all projects align with Daily Wires mission, brand, and commercial goals. This is a senior leadership role for a creative executive eager to shape the future of serialized storytelling at Daily Wire.Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead the creative and strategic vision for the companys episodic content slate, spanning scripted series, unscripted formats, limited series, and multi-season franchises.
  • Own long-range slate planning and portfolio balance across original concepts, adaptations, and acquired formats aligned with brand, mission, and growth objectives.
  • Provide senior creative leadership across all development activity, overseeing scripts, pitches, series bibles, format design, showrunner collaboration, and series packaging.
  • Partner with Production to move projects from development through greenlight and into pre-production, ensuring creative, financial, and operational readiness.
  • Drive audience growth, subscriber engagement, and retention by aligning episodic programming with measurable performance and platform objectives.
  • Build and maintain high-level relationships with writers, showrunners, producers, talent, and studios, representing the company across the industry.
Experience & Requirements
  • Senior leadership experience in scripted and/or unscripted series development, production, or studio environments
  • Proven ability to identify, shape, and advance episodic projects from concept through greenlight
  • Exceptional storytelling judgment, with deep expertise in script evaluation, series structure, character development, season arcs, and format design
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, audience behavior, and market dynamics across episodic content
  • High level of financial literacy, including the ability to evaluate budgets, resource requirements, and slate economics
  • Proven cross-functional leader with strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, mission-driven, entrepreneurial environment aligned with conservative media values
  • Collaborative, strategic executive with excellent interpersonal skills
