We are currently seeking a full-time Human Resource Specialist for our headquarters in Syracuse, New York, reporting directly to our Director of Human Resources. We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, organized person who maintains a professional demeanor.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting HR team with employee onboarding, orientation, FMLA and disability requests, and other confidential tasks, as assigned.
  • Support the Recruiting team with job postings, HRIS support, college recruiting activities, and candidate interview coordination.
  • Employee engagement and career development assistance. Implementation and coordination of B&L U and other trainings.
  • Maintaining certain office supply inventory and certain reservation coordination, including placing online orders for the Company.
  • Assisting with company fleet management, including tracking driver status, vehicle maintenance, and registration needs. Assists with various DMV compliance and DMV transactions.
  • Helping with mail sorting and routing, including accounts receivable processing.
  • Coordinating special company events, including charity fundraisers, when requested.
  • Helping to coordinate approved Events Committee activities for the Syracuse Office with Human Resources.
  • Additional administrative and office assistance as requested by the Supervisor or the Corporate office.


Requirements

Candidates must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, etc.) and have at least 5 years of office support experience. This position requires a reliable, enthusiastic, organized person who can manage multiple priorities, communicate well, and work with a diverse group of technical staff.
