AP Specialist at Distro – Honduras, Chiapas

WOW is seeking a detail-driven Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. In this role, you will manage the full accounts payable cycle, helping to ensure smooth financial operations by collaborating closely with internal teams and external vendors. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, teamwork, and working in a fast-growing company.

Own the full accounts payable cycle, processing vendor invoices accurately, timely, and in compliance with company policies

Code invoices correctly and manage approval workflows with strong attention to detail

Reconcile vendor statements and proactively resolve discrepancies or payment issues

Update and reconcile the AP sub-ledger to the general ledger

Serve as a trusted point of contact for internal teams and vendors regarding accounts payable inquiries

Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and internal controls

Excellent attention to detail with solid organizational and time-management skills

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
