Plumber at Shore Medical Center – Somers Point, New Jersey

Position Summary
Performs maintenance, repairs, replacement, and installation of the facilities steam and condensate return system, vacuum, medical gas system, natural gas system, sanitary and storm system, hot and cold water and fire protection systems.

Core Duties and Responsibilities
• Knowledgeable of plumbing systems and can perform functions of a plumber.
• Ability to independently plan work assignments and effectively works with others as needed
• Performs preventative maintenance and documents records accordingly
• Performs corrective maintenance
• Orders supplies materials and maintenance
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements
• High School Graduate/GED / Equivalent Work
• Experience Valid NJ Driver’s License
• Valid NJ Plumber License preferred
• Must have phone or cell phone and be available for emergency and overtime work
• 5+ years plumbing experience
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods with the Physical strength to lift heavy objects, carts, or items frequently

Preferred:
• Licensed Master Plumber

Salary Range - $25.07- $32.79 hourly
