Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) – Missouri at ABF – Fenton, Missouri

Company Overview:

We are seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Missouri to join our team as a 1099 employee and provide expert oversight, design approval, and engineering leadership.

Position Summary:
The Professional Engineer (PE) will be responsible for reviewing, approving, and sealing engineering documents in accordance with Missouri state regulations. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, approve, and apply PE seal to engineering plans, drawings, and calculations
• Ensure all work complies with Missouri regulations, codes, and standards
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to project teams
• Perform or review engineering analyses and reports
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for compliance purposes

Qualifications:

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Missouri (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related field)
• Minimum 4+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and permitting requirements
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in reviewing and sealing low-voltage/security system designs
• Prior experience sealing drawings or acting as Engineer of Record
