Car Deal Costing & Tag/Title Support Role at J.C. Lewis – Pooler, Georgia

Position Summary:

The Car Deal Costing & Tag/Title Support role will assist the J.C. Lewis dealership group by ensuring title/registration documentation is accurate, complete, properly filed, and processed in a timely manner—while also reviewing and cleaning vehicle deals prior to final posting for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. This role works closely with Finance & Insurance, Accounting, and the Tag & Title function to reduce DMV/title issues and posting errors.

Tag & Title Support

Review and verify title and registration paperwork for accuracy and completeness.Maintain digital and physical filing systems for title and registration documents.Track pending deals and follow up on missing or incorrect documents.Communicate with Finance, Sales, and customers regarding required documentation.Provide updates on the status of titles, plates, and registrations.Call to confirm tax exemptions, lien releases, or title statuses when required documents are provided.Deal Costing / Document Verification

Review and clean car deals for accuracy, completeness, and compliance before final posting.Verify all required documents are present and properly completed.Check deals for correct information, including VINs, rebates, reserves, lienholder information, customer name, etc.
