The new Assistant Managing Broker will have the pleasure of supporting an office of close to a hundred agents. You will be responsible for recruiting, one on one mentoring and coaching, maintaining operational efficiency, team productivity and more. Who you are matters! Areas of Focus:
Lead the office
• Contribute towards the achievement of the company’s strategic and operational objectives.
• You will hire, train and recruit new and seasoned agents on an ongoing basis with an emphasis on retention of current agents.
• Serve as a resource to assist agents with sales knowledge, transactions, and necessary
paperwork. Audit contracts for complete compliance with state and federal laws.
• Run weekly team meetings; provide praise and recognition to agents
• Communicate professionally with company executives and team members in a way that fosters cooperation and collaboration.
• Perform quality controls and monitor the flow and efficiency of the office.
Support and serve
• Provide first-hand unfailing support for Agents; be the listening heart for their challenges.
• Create team events to maintain and improve company culture.
• Support the agents with one on one meetings to assist with agent goals and
deliverables.
• Assist agents with technology software and systems as needed.
• Promote and encourage a culture of learning and development.
Be the “Go-To” person:
• You will hold your team to a high level of accountability.
• You will hold all team members accountable for production and results, and therefore, you must be capable of holding yourself accountable as well.
Ideal Candidate:
• An active Indiana real estate Managing Broker’s license preferred or must be obtained within the first three months of employment.
• Previous experience managing a Real Estate office as the Managing Broker is a plus but is NOT required.
• Working knowledge of real estate contracts, disclosures and transaction management
required.
• Knowledge of the local market and an extensive existing network of industry contacts preferred.
• Passion for coaching, personal growth, and development.
• Active listening skills; knows how to communicate with finesse, diplomacy, and empathy.
• Motivated, positive, self-starter with a focus on company and team culture.
• Tech-savvy, and up-to-date on real estate software.
• Confident and comfortable keeping agents accountable for their goals.
• Polished with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Will take on job duties with a sense of ownership, confidentiality, commitment, honesty, loyalty, and integrity.

You reside no more than a 45-minute commute to Elkhart and you have daily access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and carry insurance.
The Details:
Benefits: Paid time off, sick leave, medical and dental, 401k
Hours: Full-time, 40+ hrs, 8:30 am-5pm, M-F, flexibility to support agents on weekends is required.
