About This Position
CT Tech - Radiology Computed Tomography Technologist--PRN

WORK LOCATION : Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231
DEPARTMENT : Radiology CT Scan
WORK HOURS : PRN -Rotating Shifts as needed
DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS:
• Level I Trauma Center
• Comprehensive Heart Attack and Stroke Center

HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
• Other - Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology required or
• Associate degree preferred.
• Other - CLIAFE; Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required.
• 1-year radiologic technician experience w/out ARRT - CT required or
• No experience w/ ARRT - CT required
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, R, upon hire required and
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic, CT, w/no radiology technician experience upon hire or
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, CT, w/1 year radiology technician experience within 12 months of hire and
• GMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologistt, either by TDH or TMB, upon hire and
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Imaging Quality and Processing:
• Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to exam.
• Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations.
• Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.
• Correctly sends and transfers images to PACS.
