About This Position
About the Role:
The Sales Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales team for designated accounts. This position is responsible for coordinating sales activities, managing key accounts, and facilitating new business development to drive revenue growth. The role requires cross collaboration with other departments and sales management to ensure seamless order processing and customer satisfaction. The Sales Coordinator helps align sales strategies with market demands and customer needs. Ultimately, this role ensures efficient communication and coordination between internal teams and external clients to achieve sales targets and foster long-term business relationships.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales coordination or a related role
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, or similar field
- Proficient in MS Office, Google Suite
- Basic understanding of product marketing principles and sales management practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced skills in data analysis and sales forecasting tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily sales activities and managing customer inquiries to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Support key account management by maintaining strong relationships with major clients and assisting in the development of tailored sales strategies.
- Collaborate with the product marketing team to communicate product features, promotions, and updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Assist the sales management team in tracking sales performance, preparing reports, and identifying opportunities for new business development.
- Represent the company effectively by developing comprehensive knowledge of its products and services.
- Prepare sales slides for internal and external presentations
- Collaborate with PD and marketing to develop key messaging and materials for client presentations, evaluate effectiveness and implement improvements as required.
- Conduct ongoing retail store audits to complete comp shops, validate items, pricing, promotions and identify competitor’s items
- Attend internal and external sales meetings and ensure each meeting is properly documented
Other duties as assigned.
Skills:
The required skills such as computer knowledge are essential for managing sales data, tracking orders, and maintaining accurate records on a daily basis. Expertise in key account management and sales management enables the Sales Coordinator to effectively support client relationships and contribute to strategic sales initiatives. Product marketing knowledge is applied to communicate product benefits and promotions clearly to customers, enhancing sales opportunities. Familiarity with the industry, allows the coordinator to understand market trends and customer preferences, which informs better service and sales approaches. Preferred skills like new business development and cross-department collaboration further empower the coordinator to identify growth opportunities and ensure smooth operational workflows.
This is a full-time, in-person role. The working hours are Monday through Friday at our Sugar Land office.
