About This Position

Position Title: Recruiter-Site Representative

Location: Lincolnton, North Carolina

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment and Candidate Management

  • Independently manage recruitment processes for assigned HTI clients.
  • Screen applicants based on requirements set by clients and HTI and schedule for orientation as needed.
  • Understand client job requirements and follow client-specific recruiting processes.
  • Maintain clear communication with candidates regarding offers, schedules, and client-specific requirements.
  • Develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies to grow the candidate pool.
  • Maintain an active pool of pre-screened candidates who have successfully completed testing, reference checks and background checks.
  • Manage candidates throughout the applicant lifecycle from pre-screen to first day.
  • Utilize Bullhorn software to maintain accurate candidate records and improve recruiting efficiency.
  • Ensure employee files meet quality standards and HTI management guidelines.
  • Support onboarding activities (orientations and completion of all employment documentation).

Client Support

  • Maintain a consistent onsite presence at client locations to support workforce operations.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact between HTI associates, client leadership, and the branch
  • Track attendance, performance concerns, and disciplinary actions.
  • Communicate staffing updates, hiring needs, and process changes between client and branch.
  • Assist with coordinating interviews, facility tours, and hiring events at client locations.
  • Maintain accurate workforce records including attendance tracking, counseling documentation, and performance notes.
  • Support site safety initiatives by reinforcing safety procedures and assisting with incident reporting and investigations.
  • Ensure associates comply with client safety requirements, certifications, and training programs.
  • Troubleshoot staffing challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Support contract performance by maintaining strong client relationships and addressing operational needs.
  • Prepare reports and workforce metrics for both HTI leadership and client partners as needed.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Conduct new hire onboarding and support completion of required employment documentation.
  • Track attendance, performance concerns, and disciplinary actions.
  • Perform regular floor walks at client sites to engage with associates, identify concerns, and address potential issues proactively.
  • Assist with employee relations matters including counseling, performance discussions, and terminations when necessary.
  • Coordinate employee recognition activities, engagement initiatives, and roundtable discussions.
  • Respond to urgent workforce issues and assist in resolving employee concerns.
Team & Administrative Support
  • Participate in daily management meetings to review metrics and critical openings with team.
  • Assist with job fairs, hiring events, and recruiting initiatives representing HTI and clients.
  • Support payroll and timekeeping coordination as needed with internal teams.
  • Participate in comprehensive training sessions at local offices and corporate locations as required.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support branch operations and client success.

Work Environment
This role is performed both at an HTI branch office and onsite at client locations. The position requires regular interaction with applicants, associates, internal staff, and client leadership in both office and manufacturing plant environments. Appropriate PPE and attire may be required depending on client specifications.

Travel:
Travel within the assigned region up to 50% is required to support recruiting activities, client relationships, and onsite workforce operations.

Education & ExperienceRequired:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Customer service or people?facing work experience
  • 2+ years of professional work experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred:
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 3+ years of recruiting, HR, or workforce management experience
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience supporting onsite client operations or employee relations
