Job Overview:

Professional Cabling Solutions is seeking a highly driven and experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimize our Michigan operations. This leadership role is responsible for driving performance across field operations, project execution, and administrative functions while ensuring adherence to company standards, profitability goals, and customer satisfaction benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Leadership
    • Enforce company policies, procedures, and performance standards across field and office operations

    • Coordinate daily operations to maximize productivity and service efficiency

    • Track KPIs and implement corrective actions to maintain operational excellence

  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Lead and supervise operations, project management, and administrative personnel

    • Hold teams accountable for quality, timelines, and productivity metrics

    • Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and career development initiatives

  • Project & Service Execution
    • Oversee scheduling, workload distribution, and service delivery

    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards

    • Assist with estimating and client communications as needed

  • Financial & Business Management
    • Manage operational costs and improve profit margins through efficiency controls

    • Partner with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and staffing strategies

    • Conduct quality audits and ensure system compliance and reporting accuracy

  • Vendor & Partner Relations
    • Manage vendor performance and service-level expectations

    • Resolve escalations and ensure timely issue resolution

  • Technical Oversight
    • Provide leadership with working knowledge of intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance, networking, and IP-based systems

    • Preferred experience with platforms such as Axis, Milestone, Genetec, Hanwha, Bosch, and ExacqVision

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of operational or project leadership experience (commercial construction or low-voltage preferred)

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills

  • Proficient with basic computer systems and mobile technology

  • Valid drivers license with clean driving record

  • RCDD certification preferred (not required)

  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
