Summary of Position
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations across assigned departments. This role is responsible for driving production performance, ensuring safety and quality standards, and leading a team of supervisors and production employees in a fast-paced environment.
This position operates within a manufacturing environment and requires a strong on-floor leadership presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily manufacturing operations and ensure production goals are achieved
- Supervise, coach, and develop supervisors, team leads, and production employees
- Manage staffing, scheduling, performance management, and disciplinary actions
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and company procedures
- Analyze production data and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Partner with Maintenance to minimize downtime and support equipment reliability
- Support workforce planning, training, and employee development
- Address employee relations matters in partnership with Human Resources
- Drive accountability and continuous improvement across operations
Key Qualifications
We are seeking a hands-on manufacturing leader who demonstrates strong leadership, accountability, and the ability to drive operational performance in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate can effectively manage people, processes, and priorities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with the ability to address operational challenges quickly and effectively
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet production demands, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and influence a diverse workforce
- Professional fluency in English and Spanish, including the ability to communicate safety expectations and performance standards
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret production data and drive process improvements
- Experience working in steel fabrication, welding, roll forming, paint line, or automated manufacturing environments preferred
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 3+ years of management or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of experience in steel fabrication, welding, roll forming, automated packing, or paint line operations

Employees must have adequate vision and hearing to effectively use a computer, participate in meetings, and communicate with colleagues and external contacts.
Mental demands include the ability to analyze information, maintain attention to detail, manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Work Environment
Work is performed primarily in a professional office environment with standard lighting, temperature control, and moderate noise levels typical of an office setting.
Employees visiting the production floor may be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with company safety policies.
