About This Position
The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing the performance of the technical services team and related operational functions within the branch. This role partners closely with branch leadership to drive operational efficiency, support revenue growth, and ensure high-quality service delivery across systems integration and managed services.
As a key member of the branch management team, the Operations Manager provides leadership, direction, and strategic oversight of technical operations. This includes developing team capabilities, improving processes, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The role is also accountable for building and maintaining a high-performing, engaged team through coaching, mentorship, and professional development.

- Monitor and report on operational performance, including productivity, utilization, and service delivery outcomes

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to support project execution and client satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations, including OSHA requirements
- Support recruitment efforts and build a strong pipeline of technical talent
- Maintain team engagement by fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- 4+ years of experience managing and mentoring technical delivery, service, or support teams
- Experience leading teams within AV, IT, systems integration, or related technical environments
- Proven ability to hire, develop, and manage high-performing, diverse teams
- Strong business acumen with the ability to drive operational and financial performance
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and think strategically
- Proficiency with business applications and multiple operating systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel occasionally as needed
- AVIXA CTS certification (or ability to obtain within one year of hire)
- Experience in audiovisual (AV) integration or related industry
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and compliance requirements
- Experience supporting both systems integration and managed services teams
