Plan Drafter Traffic Control Plans at M&J ENTERPRISES CONSTRUCTION INC – Henderson, Nevada

Seeking a Plan Drafter responsible for creating accurate and compliant

Traffic Control Plans (TCPs) for roadway, construction, and special event projects. This role is

essential in ensuring traffic control layouts meet MUTCD standards and all applicable state and local

regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare traffic control plans in accordance with MUTCD guidelines for Streets and Highways

• Create clear and accurate drawings for lane closures, work zones, and pedestrian management

• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and field crews to ensure safe and efficient layouts

• Review plans to ensure compliance with local jurisdiction requirements

• Maintain organized project files and revisions

• Assist with planning layouts for traffic control equipment and barricade placement

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to interpret roadway, construction, and site plans

• Experience with traffic control planning preferred

• Experience with RapidPlan, AutoCAD, or similar drafting software is a plus

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

• Strong communication skills when working with clients and internal teams
