Position: Project Engineer
Location/s: Richmond, VA
Duration: Full time, Direct Hire
Shift: Night Shift (Monday – Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM)
Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 annually

Key Responsibilities- Partner with sales teams and customers to collect application requirements and evaluate project feasibility
- Provide cost estimates and lead time projections for proposals
- Conduct detailed engineering analyses to ensure designs meet required performance standards
Design Engineering:
- Maintain engineering documentation in compliance with AS9100-certified quality standards
- Develop detailed drawing packages, including customer submittals and manufacturing drawings
- Assist in creating work instructions and supporting manufacturing documentation
Project Engineering:
- Support the transition of projects into procurement and production phases
- Monitor components through production to ensure alignment with project specifications
- Manage project schedules and develop qualification and testing plans
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline (other engineering degrees will be considered)
- Minimum of 2 years of product design experience in an engineered-to-order environment (internship experience may be considered)
- Experience with 3D modeling tools such as Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and project management capabilities
- Practical, hands-on approach to engineering challenges with strong mechanical aptitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and Autodesk Inventor/AutoCAD
