The Job
The Distribution Manager is a leadership role managing all aspects of warehouse operations. This role oversees a team of Warehouse Associates, ensuring the efficient flow of goods and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
The Opportunity
- Team Management: Lead and supervise Warehouse Associates, including task assignments, performance evaluations, and training.
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, packing, and shipping. Participate in production as needed to meet SLA’s and business needs.
- Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management, conducting regular audits, and implementing best practices to maintain accuracy.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all outgoing shipments meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Efficiency: Continuously improve warehouse processes to optimize productivity and reduce costs.
- Safety: Enforce safety policies, conduct safety training, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze reports related to warehouse performance, inventory levels, and order fulfillment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Manage the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment.
- Budget Management: Assist in budget planning and monitor expenses related to warehouse operations.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to meet company goals and objectives.
- Other duties: As assigned.
The Must Haves
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Must have a valid BC Drivers License
- Previous experience in warehouse management or supervision.
- Proven track record in optimizing distribution operations and inventory control.
- Experience in team leadership and safety compliance.
- Experience in warehouse and WMS configuration and implementation. Pick/Put sequencing, zone layout and definitions, location setup, workflow definition, etc.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and inventory tracking systems.

The base wage for this role ranges from $32.00/hr to $35.00/hr. Where you land in that range depends on your skills and experience, and we also factor in internal pay equity. While the full range is listed for this role, we rarely hire at the top of the range, leaving room for professional and financial growth in role.
