Clinic Patient Services Representative Lead
Job Summary
The Patient Services Representative (PSR) Lead provides leadership and guidance to the PSR team, overseeing daily operations and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. This position works in collaboration with the PSR Manager to assist in communicating and implementing process changes with their team and serves as a resource to staff and providers in the Clinic. The Lead PSR job duties will encompass both Lead and PSR duties.
Compensation
We are committed to providing wage ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on experience, education and internal equity considerations. The hourly wage range for this position is $21.08—$29.76. This range reflects the base salary for this position.
Key Accountabilities
Leadership and Team Support
-
Provide direction and support to the PSR team, including onboarding, training, and mentoring staff.

Collaborate with Patient Care Supervisor to resolve workflow challenges and optimize patient care delivery.

Partners with PSR Manager, Clinic leaders, and other departments to resolve operational problems and improve the quality of services.

Promotes a healthy work environment that builds trust and supports team cohesiveness.
Oversee Day to day operations

Handle sick call coverage and help ensure adequate staffing, adjusting staffing plans as necessary.

Communicate new and revised processes or policies to staff.

Resolve patient complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner or escalate to Clinic Supervisor or Manager.

Help manage daily patient flow.

Manages forms, equipment and supply needs of Front Desk.
Accurate Patient Access Registration information
-
Completes regular audits of registration information to ensure accurate patient demographic, insurance information, and co-pay collection.

Helps manage Account Checks working with staff to improve identified errors.
Performance Management

Assists with interviewing and selection of new employees, staff development, providing performance feedback, and assisting with resolution of employee concerns.

Monitor staff productivity, accuracy, and adherence to clinic policies working with PSR Manager to address issues as necessary.

Monitor, review, and corrects timecards as needed to ensure accurate documentation of hours worked.

Assists and gives input for annual performance reviews.
Superuser of IT Systems

Build and maintain provider schedules in Expanse.

Test and communicate Expanse updates and changes.

Participate in training of new systems and be a resource for others.
Required Qualifications
-
Minimum Education: High School graduate or equivalent
-
Healthcare background, minimum of 2 years.
-
Ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively with others and work independently with minimal supervision.

Demonstrated ability for problem solving, attention to detail, decision-making, continuous improvement
-
Ability to learn and operate computer systems.

Excellent Customer Service Skills
