About the Role:
- The Child and Family Advocacy Program Supervisor’s primary focus is to provide programmatic supervision for daily operations of the Child and Family Advocacy Program and support programmatic staff with reducing trauma for the child and non-offending caregiver that visit the center and to improve outcomes. The Child and Family Advocacy Program Supervisor assists with protocol development, provides orientation, support, resource linkage and information for families experiencing investigations of child sexual abuse, sexual assault as well as other crimes and exposure to violence. The Child and Family Advocacy Program Supervisor also provides the creative development and management of the Child Advocacy portion of the program, which is designed for the support and nurturance of youth and families visiting Center for Hope.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Child and Family Advocacy Program Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the Child & Family Advocacy program, including staff, interns and volunteers. Provide regular and on-going individual and team supervision for 5-7 direct reports to achieve high quality of care for clients. Assist direct staff with reducing harmful effects of secondary trauma and increasing wellness and resiliency. Coordinate with other Center for Hope departments, partners, and external stakeholders as it impacts child and family advocacy. Attend and participate in meetings and supervision as requested. Recruit, train and oversee programmatic interns and volunteers
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Professional Counseling, Psychology, Victim Services or similar field. Licensure not required.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience
Grant supports $30 to $31/hour
