About the Role
Noble Environmental is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Environmental Compliance Technician to support regulatory compliance efforts across our landfill and transfer station operations. This role is primarily focused on environmental compliance, with additional responsibilities related to onsite safety practices and policy adherence.
The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure all activities meet federal, state, and local regulatory requirements while maintaining safe and efficient site operations.

Key Responsibilities
· Maintain environmental and regulatory compliance at landfill and transfer station facilities
· Perform routine and daily site inspections
· Interpret and apply federal, state, and local environmental regulations
· Assist with permitting, compliance reporting, and documentation
· Conduct research and investigations related to environmental projects
· Support planning and execution of corrective and remedial actions
· Prepare clear and accurate compliance and project reports
· Assist with water quality sampling and environmental monitoring
· Review analytical data and recommend improvements or corrective actions
· Partner with onsite teams to ensure safety policies and training requirements are followed
· Monitor project progress and assist with site inspections, maintenance, and repairs

Qualifications
· Associate’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, Compliance, Health & Safety, or a related field OR equivalent experience in environmental compliance or QA/QC engineering
· Minimum of 2 years of environmental experience in Pennsylvania
· Familiarity with regulatory agencies such as USEPA, PADEP, and OEPA
· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
· Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

· Regular outdoor work in varying weather conditions
· Field duties include inspections, sampling, and environmental observations
· Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
· Occasional travel required between facilities
