Location: Orlando, FL 32822

Pay Rate: $16.00 Hourly

Shift Schedule:

1. Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Job Duties:

1. Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to packing slips.
2. Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
3. Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
4. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, and color or product code.
5. Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.
6. Mark materials with identifying information using the appropriate method.
7. Assist in counting physical inventory.
8. Weigh and count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
9. Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.
10. Sweep, dust, and mop. Always organize warehouse and work area per housekeeping standards.
11. Wear the proper safety equipment.

Requirements:

1. Detail-oriented
2. Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
3. Basic Math

Physical Requirements:

1. Stand and walk continuously throughout the shift
2. Lift up to 40 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. with assistance
3. Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the workday
4. Frequently use hands for gripping, reaching, handling, pushing, pulling, and operating tools
5. Climb ladders, stairs, platforms, and scaffolding as needed
6. Work around machinery, conveyors, confined spaces, and heights up to 20 feet
