This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned cybersecurity and pre-sales expert to help organizations design and implement enterprise-grade security solutions in complex environments. In this role, you will collaborate with sales, engineering, and client stakeholders to develop tailored architectures that address evolving business and compliance challenges. You’ll lead technical discovery sessions, build strategic client relationships, and guide solution delivery from concept through implementation. The position offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies across cloud, infrastructure, and security ecosystems while supporting mid-size and enterprise clients nationwide. Ideal candidates are consultative, technically strong, and passionate about translating business needs into impactful technology strategies. - Design and propose advanced security architectures and integrated technology solutions aligned with client business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate closely with account executives and technical teams throughout the full sales lifecycle, including assessments, solution scoping, proof of concepts, and product demonstrations.
- Conduct technical evaluations, studies, and client discovery sessions to identify risks, infrastructure gaps, and strategic opportunities.
- Develop enterprise-wide security solutions leveraging technologies from leading vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, and related platforms.
- Support implementation teams to ensure smooth deployment and successful delivery of proposed solutions.
- Build strong relationships with clients by providing trusted technical guidance and clearly communicating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor internal teams and contribute to knowledge sharing, training initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Stay informed on emerging cybersecurity trends, technologies, and industry standards including PCI-DSS, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and NIST frameworks.
- Participate in client meetings, regional events, and strategic engagements to expand business opportunities and strengthen customer partnerships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or security architecture role.
- Strong expertise in enterprise security technologies and solutions from major vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, and CrowdStrike.
- Experience designing scalable enterprise-level solutions that combine hardware, software, and services to address customer needs.
- Solid understanding of compliance and security frameworks including PCI-DSS, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and NIST.
- Relevant security certifications preferred, such as CISSP, GIAC, CCIE Security, or CCNP Security.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and project management capabilities in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience building technical proposals and business cases.
- Ability to travel nationally as needed to support client engagements and business development activities.
- Competitive salary range of $150,000 – $170,000 plus commission opportunities.
