LAR Regional Operations Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a LAR Regional Operations Manager in Brazil.

This senior leadership role oversees regional operations across Latin America, driving operational excellence, financial discipline, and organizational effectiveness across a large and complex multi-country structure. You will be responsible for managing diverse operational functions, including contracts, facilities, procurement, compliance, and administrative systems, while ensuring alignment with strategic regional priorities. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, requiring strong coordination across cross-functional and multicultural teams. You will act as a key connector between leadership, internal teams, and external partners, ensuring consistency in processes, governance, and performance standards. With oversight of significant budgets and large-scale teams, the position demands strong analytical, financial, and operational expertise. Accountabilities:
  • Lead and oversee regional operational strategy and execution across Latin America, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and performance standards.
  • Manage and coordinate operational functions including contracts, procurement, facilities, asset management, office safety, and administrative systems.
  • Develop, monitor, and control regional budgets, forecasts, and financial planning processes, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, legal requirements, GAAP principles, and internal policies across all operational activities.
  • Lead vendor management, contract negotiations, and service provider relationships, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Oversee data management, reporting, and operational analytics to support informed decision-making and executive reporting.
  • Supervise and develop operational staff, ensuring strong performance management, capability building, and team accountability.
  • Support regional expansion and transition activities, including entry into new markets and operational exits where required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Finance, or related field, with 6+ years of relevant experience (including at least 2 years in operational leadership).
  • Proven experience managing complex operations, multi-project environments, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting experience.
  • Experience in contract negotiation, vendor management, and compliance oversight.
  • Ability to analyze data, interpret operational metrics, and develop actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience, including performance management and team development.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across multicultural and international environments.
  • Advanced English proficiency, with Spanish and/or Portuguese required or highly desirable depending on regional coverage.
