Job Description
Sinai Chicago is one the largest private safety net healthcare systems in Illinois. SHS includes Mount Sinai Hospital, Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital, Holy Cross Hospital, Sinai Children's Hospital and 14 outpatient clinics. The system employs approximately 3500 individuals and serves a geographic area of 1.5 million people on Chicago's West and Southwest sides.
Sinai Chicago provides a full range of high quality behavioral health services, primarily servicing the West and Southwest Sides of Chicago. Currently, SHS provides over 80,000 outpatients behavioral health visits a year, and provides approximately 1,500 inpatient visits a year. SHS is substantially expanding its inpatient and outpatient capacity over the next several months, primarily in the Holy Cross Hospital area. All of our behavioral health programs provide bilingual services in English and Spanish.

Position Purpose
The Licensed Psychologist is responsible for providing psychotherapy and other indicated and appropriate treatment services that affirm clients’ strengths, broaden their problem-solving abilities, and increase their self-knowledge. Individual will provide services to adults and children in community mental health center clinic.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Conduct psychotherapy and other clinical treatment sessions for individuals, families, and groups.
Complete all required case records and statistical reporting documentation within specified time frames.
Provide direct service for 70% of work hours.
Facilitate consultation and outreach to assure the provision of holistic treatment.
Participate in the design and implementation of research projects as assigned.
Attend monthly all staff meetings, clinical case staffing, and designated in-service sessions
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Must be culturally competent.
REQUIRED LICENSES, Certificates, Registrations:
- Must be a licensed (State of Illinois) psychologist licensed under the Clinical Psychologist Licensing Act with specialized training in mental health services.
