This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Junior Support Technician CAD/CAM based in Brazil.
This is a technical support role at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, and advanced digital production technologies. You will act as a key contact for customers and internal teams, helping resolve technical questions related to CAD/CAM software and CNC machining processes. The position offers exposure to high-performance manufacturing environments where precision, efficiency, and innovation are essential. You will support users in optimizing NC programming workflows and ensure smooth application of advanced CAM solutions. Working closely with technical specialists, you will also contribute to product improvements and software evolution. This role is ideal for someone passionate about mechanical systems and digital manufacturing who enjoys solving technical challenges in a customer-facing environment.
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers, partners, and internal teams regarding technical inquiries related to CAD/CAM software and CNC machining applications.
- Provide technical support and guidance on NC programming, CNC machines, and control systems to ensure efficient and accurate software usage.
- Manage, analyze, and track incoming support requests, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication throughout the support process.
- Collaborate with technical and development teams to contribute feedback and insights for the continuous improvement of CAD/CAM solutions such as hyperMILL.
- Support customers in optimizing software usage by delivering structured troubleshooting and application assistance.
- Ensure high-quality customer interaction through clear communication, problem-solving, and technical expertise.
- Maintain accurate documentation of cases, solutions, and recurring issues to improve support efficiency and knowledge sharing.
- Technical background in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Basic to solid experience with CAD/CAM systems and familiarity with CNC machining processes; knowledge of hyperMILL is a strong advantage.
- Understanding of mechanical principles and industrial manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 tools and familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce experience is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to troubleshooting technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple requests, prioritize tasks, and maintain performance in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
