AI UPS Product Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a AI UPS Product Manager based in United States.

This role sits at the intersection of advanced power systems, AI-driven infrastructure, and next-generation data center energy solutions, focused on shaping how large-scale AI workloads are powered reliably and efficiently.
You will own the product lifecycle for AI UPS systems, translating complex electrical engineering and controls requirements into scalable, market-ready solutions.
The position blends deep technical expertise in power electronics, BESS systems, and UPS architecture with strategic product leadership across engineering, commercial, and customer teams.
You will be responsible for defining product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle decisions while ensuring alignment with market demand, pricing, and system performance expectations.
This is a highly cross-functional role involving close collaboration with engineering, commissioning, finance, and enterprise customers in mission-critical environments.
The environment is fast-evolving and highly technical, supporting infrastructure at gigawatt scale for AI and hyperscale computing growth.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle for AI UPS systems, from concept definition and requirements gathering to launch and continuous improvement.
  • Define product strategy, roadmap, and feature prioritization aligned with business objectives, technical feasibility, and customer needs in mission-critical environments.
  • Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and pricing analysis to identify opportunities and refine product positioning and value propositions.
  • Translate system-level engineering requirements into clear product specifications, documentation, and technical requirements for cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, supply chain, commissioning, and sales teams to ensure successful product development and deployment.
  • Support design reviews, validation activities, and product commissioning efforts to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance standards are met.
  • Monitor product performance and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement across hardware, controls, and system integration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, product engineering, or system-level engineering roles within industrial, energy, or infrastructure domains.
  • Strong technical expertise in UPS systems, power electronics, BESS integration, and controls for large-scale energy systems.
  • Experience working across full product lifecycles, including requirements definition, design review, validation, and launch.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, finance, sales, and customer-facing teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in pricing, cost structure analysis, and product business strategy.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for testing, commissioning, and customer engagement activities.
