VP, Assurance Ecosystem

Position Overview:

The VP, Assurance Ecosystem is the executive leader responsible for building, growing, and leading Ibility's Assurance line of business.

This leader owns the strategy, growth, profitability, delivery excellence, talent development, and market positioning of the Assurance Ecosystem. They serve as both a trusted advisor to federal clients and an entrepreneur within Ibility, developing innovative service offerings while ensuring exceptional execution across every engagement.

The Assurance Ecosystem encompasses four strategic Impact Areas:
• Audit & Financial Management
• Policy & Compliance
• Organizational Design & Governance
• Risk Management & Internal Controls

Success in this role is measured not only by outstanding client outcomes, but by the long-term growth, sustainability, and reputation of the Assurance Ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth & Market Leadership
Own the strategic direction and long-term growth of the Assurance Ecosystem.

Responsibilities include:
• Develop and execute the annual growth strategy for the Assurance Ecosystem.
• Build and maintain a robust business development pipeline.
• Shape opportunities from qualification through award.
• Lead proposal strategy and solution development for Assurance-related pursuits.
• Build executive relationships across federal agencies and strategic partners.
• Identify emerging market trends and develop new service offerings.
• Represent Ibility at conferences, industry events, and client engagements.
• Establish the Assurance Ecosystem as a recognized leader within the federal consulting marketplace.
• Achieve annual revenue, profitability, and growth objectives.

Delivery Excellence
Ensure every engagement reflects Ibility's commitment to exceptional client outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
• Provide executive oversight across all Assurance engagements.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and at the highest level of quality.
• Maintain accountability for client satisfaction and mission impact.
• Establish consistent delivery methodologies and quality standards.
• Monitor engagement risks and proactively resolve delivery issues.
• Collaborate across Ibility's Insight and Transformation Ecosystems to deliver integrated solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes.

Talent Leadership & Professional Development
Build an exceptional consulting organization capable of sustained growth.
Responsibilities include:
• Recruit and retain top consulting talent.
• Develop career paths and succession plans across the Assurance Ecosystem.
• Coach and mentor consultants at every level.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide continuous feedback.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
• Encourage professional certifications, continuing education, and thought leadership.
• Build communities of practice that strengthen technical excellence across the organization.

Capability Development & Innovation
Continuously evolve the Assurance Ecosystem into a market-leading consulting practice.
Responsibilities include:
• Develop repeatable methodologies, frameworks, accelerators, and intellectual property.
• Standardize delivery approaches across the Assurance portfolio.
• Build reusable tools and templates that improve efficiency and quality.
• Evaluate emerging technologies that enhance assurance services.
• Integrate automation, analytics, and AI into service delivery where appropriate.
• Ensure Ibility's offerings remain aligned with evolving federal priorities and regulations.
• Promote a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

Executive Advisory & Thought Leadership
Serve as a trusted executive advisor to clients and a recognized voice within the profession.
Responsibilities include:
• Advise senior government executives on governance, compliance, risk, and organizational performance.
• Translate complex technical issues into practical business recommendations.
• Publish articles, white papers, presentations, and other thought leadership.
• Present at executive briefings, conferences, and client forums.
• Build trusted relationships with agency executives and industry partners.
• Help position Ibility as an innovative leader in Assurance services.

• Technical Authority: Possesses sufficient depth in audit, compliance, governance, financial management, and risk management to credibly lead subject matter experts, provide executive guidance, and earn stakeholder confidence.
• Collaboration and Enterprise Leadership: Works seamlessly across Ibility's Ecosystems to deliver integrated client solutions, share knowledge, and strengthen the firm's collective capabilities.
• Integrity and Accountability: Demonstrates the highest standards of ethics, transparency, and personal accountability while consistently delivering on commitments to clients, colleagues, and the organization.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field; Master's degree strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in audit, compliance, risk management, or government financial management, with at least 4 years in a leadership capacity.
• Deep knowledge of federal audit standards (GAGAS/Yellow Book), OMB circulars, and federal financial management requirements.
• Demonstrated experience leading assurance or compliance engagements within federal government or public health agencies.
• Strong executive presence, advisory skills, and ability to communicate complex compliance and risk issues to senior leadership.
• Experience managing professional services teams and multi-engagement portfolios with accountability for quality and outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with various federal accounting systems and requirements (CARS, GTAS, UFMS, FASB, GAO Green Book, etc.).
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or equivalent credential.
• Certification in risk management (CRMA, CRISC) or compliance (CCEP) a plus.
• Familiarity with COSO, NIST Risk Management Framework, or similar enterprise risk frameworks.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
