Job Summary:
The Director, Workforce Development manages and directs all aspects of workforce development in the Westchester Region. The Director, Workforce Development reports directly to the Vice President of Operations and oversees the development of all training programs in the Westchester Region, The Director will also oversee and develop the facilitation of change management initiatives, and review of current development programs to ensure alignment with departmental and WMCHealth goals. The Director, Workforce Development actively works to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in and oversee the work of a team that partners with key stakeholders throughout the Westchester Region to assess, design, develop and deliver integrated competency-based leadership development and succession/talent development programs
- Develops programs to build a strong employee development culture
- Analyze training data measurements to gauge the success of programs and identify areas for improvement
- Design and develop leadership program to align with WMHealth- Westchester Region strategic goals
- Manage the Westchester Region content development trainers and education outreach specialists in the day-to-day performance of their roles
- Ensures project/department goals are met, while adhering to approved budgets
- Design and oversight of the new leader orientation and onboarding education track, develops support materials providing the information, tools, and resources necessary to carry out their management responsibilities in the Westchester Region
- Establishes and maintains internal partnerships with subject matter experts throughout the Westchester Region
Qualifications/Requirements:
Experience: 5 years of related workforce development experience with 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, organizational development, or equivalent is required.

Annual Salary Range: $109,291-$138,343
