This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and scaling advanced AI capabilities across enterprise-grade platforms, with a strong emphasis on Generative AI applications in healthcare technology.
The position sits at the intersection of engineering leadership, applied machine learning, and product innovation, driving real-world impact in mission-driven environments.
You will lead the design and deployment of AI systems that power intelligent tools such as chatbots, automation workflows, and predictive analytics.
The role requires close collaboration with product, engineering, and data teams to embed AI capabilities into scalable production systems.
It is both strategic and hands-on, combining architecture oversight with team leadership and execution accountability.
You will also help define best practices for responsible AI adoption, ensuring compliance, safety, and ethical use of emerging technologies.
This is a fully remote opportunity with minimal travel and a strong focus on innovation at scale.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI and GenAI-powered solutions across enterprise platforms, ensuring scalability and production readiness.
- Build and manage a high-performing team of AI engineers and data scientists, fostering innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
- Drive integration of AI capabilities into existing and new products, including conversational AI, documentation automation, and predictive systems.
- Define and enforce best practices for AI development, deployment, monitoring, and governance, including responsible AI principles.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders) to align AI initiatives with organizational goals.
- Stay ahead of emerging AI/ML and GenAI trends and translate them into actionable opportunities for platform enhancement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, including at least 3+ years working directly with Generative AI or LLM-based systems.
- Proven experience leading AI teams and delivering production-grade machine learning systems at scale.
- Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks, data pipelines, model deployment, and cloud-based AI architectures.
- Experience in healthcare, government, or regulated environments is highly valued.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Competitive annual compensation ranging from $186,100 to $265,800, based on experience and location factors.
