Job Description
We currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Support Worker in our Supported Accommodation for Young People aged 16-18 at Sherringham House. This is a full-time role located at 103, Sherringham Avenue, Tottenham N17 9RT.
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing emotional and practical support to young people residing in the supported accommodation. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of these young individuals by assisting them with daily tasks, promoting independent living skills, and helping them navigate the challenges of transitioning into adulthood.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with young people, a non-judgmental attitude, and excellent communication skills. Prior experience in a similar role or a relevant qualification in health and social care is desirable but not essential, as we provide comprehensive training and support for all staff members.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Supporting young people in developing their daily living skills
- Providing emotional support and guidance
- Assisting with educational and employment-related activities
- Collaborating with other staff members to create a safe and supportive environment
