Pay: $84,000-$90,000

About Thrive Therapies Group
Thrive Therapies Group is hiring a Mental Health Counselor to support K-12 students in a school-based setting in Nashville, Tennessee. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality services to students across urban and rural communities, with an intentional focus on schools in historically underserved communities. In this role, you will bring your clinical expertise, knowledge of individual student needs, and collaborative approach to help students build the social-emotional skills and supports they need to thrive. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed mental health professional who values student-centered care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and meaningful work within school communities.
What You'll Do
Provide school-based mental health counseling and support to K-12 students
Build individualized, student-centered therapeutic relationships that recognize each student's strengths and needs
Collaborate with families, educators, school teams, and other providers
Support students' social-emotional well-being and participation in the school environment
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and related records
Participate as a collaborative member of the broader student support team
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling or Master's Degree in Social Work
Social Workers must hold an LMSW
Mental Health Clinical Counselors must hold the applicable professional license
K-12 school-based experience
Ability to obtain and pass a background check before employment begins
Fluency in a global language, especially Spanish, Somali, or Arabic
