About the Role

Canon USA in Melville, NY is seeking an Account Relations Representative II. The individual will be responsible for overseeing and tracking the financial aspects related to promotional activities, such as discounts, advertising costs, or incentives, for a group of accounts. In this role, attention to detail, strong financial acumen, and effective cross-team communication are crucial for managing and resolving any financial discrepancies related to promotions and funding. The ability to handle complex accounts and financial reconciliations is key at this level.

This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday Tuesday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.



Your Impact

  • Core Responsibilities & Client Support:
    - Execute client-driven initiatives to ensure operational excellence, drive growth, and maximize satisfaction within the Business Products Group (BPG) and Client Services divisions.
    - Serve as an organizational representative by delivering customer support, responding to inquiries, and troubleshooting product and operational issues.
  • Dealer-Account Operations Management:
    - Oversee diverse dealer-account operations, including:
    • Marketing Program & Contract Coordination
    • System Support & Operations
    • Sales Fund Management & Claim Validation
    • Credit Issuance, Chargeback Management & Post-Audit Resolution
  • Process Improvement & Compliance:
    - Drive business process improvements and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    - Resolve complex operational challenges in strict compliance with departmental guidelines and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulatory policies.
    - Adapt essential function allocations based on specific channel requirements and areas of specialization.
  • Reporting Structure:
    - Report directly to a Supervisor or Manager.


About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring

In accordance with applicable law, we are providing the anticipated annual rate for this role: $19.46 - 29.13 an hour

- Requires general education and/or vocational training, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is preferred.

- May require some travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).

- May require working weekends and evenings for events.
