As a Senior Data Integration Analyst, you are a highly proficient individual contributor who independently handles complex data integration challenges from end to end. You are a key technical resource for the team for difficult file layouts, thorny reconciliation problems, and advanced Darwin system questions. Beyond executing your own work with precision, you help raise the team's technical bar by sharing your knowledge, guiding less experienced analysts, and driving improvements to how we operate.

The fundamentals for the job…

• Lead end-to-end management of complex data integration issues — from triage and root cause analysis through resolution, mitigation, and documentation.
• Author and optimize advanced SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation (member counts, coverage spans, accumulator rollups), sampling, and anomaly detection.
• Interpret and apply complex flat-file layouts (eligibility, accumulators, claims extracts, APIs) to identify mapping gaps, logic inconsistencies, and integration issues.
• Serve as a technical resource for the team on Darwin system modules — navigating client benefit setups, claims search, and beneficiary search to resolve complex issues.
• Design and execute UAT and data integration test strategies, including reviewing file loads, running QA checks, validating outcomes, and acting as a data quality gatekeeper.
• Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements, identify upstream/downstream impacts, and translating needs into clear integration expectations.
• Monitor file schedules and SLAs, proactively identifying and communicating risks before service levels are impacted.
• Ensure data quality across completeness, timeliness, and accuracy by validating end-to-end flows and flagging anomalies.
• Lead technical discussions and drive alignment on solutions across cross-functional teams without relying on formal authority.
• Identify and implement meaningful improvements to data exchange processes and operational practices.
• Maintain clear, thorough technical documentation of investigations, findings, and resolutions to ensure knowledge sharing and audit readiness.
• Mentor and guide Associate and Analyst-level team members on technical standards and best practices.
• Perform any additional tasks or special projects assigned.

What we expect of you

The bold requirements…

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in a related area. (In lieu of a degree, equivalent relevant work experience may be considered.)
• 5+ years of experience with PBM or health plan data exchange (EDI/ETL) functions.
• Proficient in developing SQL queries, including complex joins, aggregations, and reconciliation logic.
• Deep working knowledge of PBM data domains eligibility, accumulators, benefit groups, claims, MOOP — and their downstream impacts.
• Advanced Darwin system or comparable PBM system platforms for fluency, including multi-module navigation for issue research and validation.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex integration investigations and drive resolution.
• Experience related to relational database architecture and data standards.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• This position requires availability to work in a specified time zone or working schedule, accommodating the business needs of our clients and team members.
• This position may require availability for on-call hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to promptly address emergent issues or provide necessary support as dictated by operational demands (if applicable).

Nice to haves…

• Experience mentoring or informally leading junior team members.
• Experience with dashboarding tools or Python for data validation frameworks, reconciliation scripts, or file parsing.

Physical requirements…

• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
