Seasonal Operations Staff in St Paul, Minnesota at DataDeletionTarget

Be part of the team keeping the ballpark up and running behind the scenes! Operations Staff are responsible for preparing and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the ballpark before, during and after baseball games and other events. The St Paul Saints provide on-the-job training, 30+ hours per week during our 75 game season, meal voucher during shifts, internal promotions, supervisory positions, and off-season work may be available.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of restrooms in Saints offices, service level corridor and other areas as needed
• Daily waste removal throughout the ballpark
• Daily cleaning of outdoor areas (Broadway St, 4th St, concourse, bullpens, dugouts, etc)
• Cleaning and waste removal of the club level before, during and after events
• Set up and tear down of the club level before and after events, other areas as needed
• Assist with maintenance throughout the ballpark
• Perform cleaning and waste removal throughout ballpark before, during and after games and events
• Set up and tear down ballpark before, during and after games and events
• Assist Event Managers and Operations Manager/Assistants when accommodating the needs of baseball teams, coaches and trainers
• Assist Grounds Crew, Fan Services and Ushers as needed
• Assist with the closing of the ballpark after games and events
• Assist with the closure and reopening of Broadway Street on game days
• Work as parking lot attendant as needed
• Assist outside cleaning crew with waste removal from concourse and picnic areas
• Maintain a clean environment on the club Level (club lobby, club, press box and suites)
• Other Duties as Assigned

• Follow direction and instructions with attention to detail
• Communicate well with coworkers and supervisors to improve efficiency
• Self-motivate and demonstrate a good work ethic while working at a consistent sometimes fast pace
• Work independently and / or with a diverse group of coworkers
• Use machinery (such as a pressure washer, floor scrubber, backpack blower etc.) in a proper and safe manner
• Available to work a full schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
• Must be dependable with reliable transportation
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time in adverse weather, including rain, heat and cold (events are seldom cancelled because of weather)
• Willingness to learn all aspects of Operations within professional sports
