Job Description
DESCRIPTION:Original X Productions (OGX), operators of worldwide location-based entertainment experiences including Hershey Super Sweet Adventure and The FRIENDS™ Experience, is seeking a part-time In-Market Campaign Assistant to support marketing campaign planning, execution, and activation for The FRIENDS™ Experience: The One in Vegas. This role will work closely with Las Vegas venue leadership while serving as an extension of the full Marketing & Revenue team, supporting a range of responsibilities including, but not limited to: advertising campaigns, programming activations, market research, and direct-to-consumer promotional marketing.JOB SUMMARY:
The In-Market Campaign Assistant is a part-time, Las Vegas-based extension of OGX Productions’ Marketing & Revenue team, providing on-the-ground support for The FRIENDS™ Experience: The One in Vegas. Key functions for this role may include verifying media placements, supporting promotional activations, gathering market intelligence, and representing TFE at local vendor and industry events. This role requires an independent, resourceful individual comfortable working with remote supervision across a wide range of marketing assignments. Responsibilities will evolve based on campaign and business needs.This position pays $20.00-$25.00 per hour.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):

Key functions for this role may include verifying media placements, supporting promotional activations, gathering market intelligence, and representing TFE at local vendor and industry events. Responsibilities will evolve based on campaign and business needs.This position pays $20.00-$25.00 per hour.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):
Campaign & Media Research/Verification
- Physically inspect out-of-home (OOH) advertising placements (billboards, digital displays, transit, etc.) within the greater LV market to validate vendor-supplied estimated impressions for upcoming campaigns and confirm proof of performance (POP) for current ad flights
- Photograph and catalog placements to support campaign research and vendor accountability
Market Research & Intelligence
- Track foot traffic levels, trends, and patterns inside MGM Grand and along the Las Vegas Strip, as well as other key tourist destinations within the market
- Observe and document visitor volume, flow, and any visible contextual demographic/psychographic indicators
- Conduct competitive scans of nearby attractions, promotions, seasonal pricing, and programming activations
- Compile and report findings back to M&R team on a weekly cadence
Promotional & Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Marketing
- Execute brand ambassador flyering and other grassroots promotional activities in high-traffic areas
- Cultivate strong relationships and ongoing engagement with hotel concierge throughout Las Vegas (primarily focused on the Strip) to ensure TFE remains prominent in their offerings and to collate feedback for M&R team
- Host familiarization (FAM) visits with local group and convention planners to include TFE within offers and itineraries
Event & Activation Support
- Serve as the on-site host/hostess for ticketed or promotional programming and events, managing guest experience and representing the brand
- Coordinate planning and logistics with third-party vendors and private-event partners (caterers, event rental companies, etc.)
- Assist with setup, staffing coordination, and day-of execution for events and activations
Community & Industry Presence
- Attend Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) mixers, networking events, and relevant industry functions as a representative of OGX/TFE
- Build and maintain relationships with local tourism, hospitality, and marketing contacts that benefit the brand’s presence in market
General
- Serve as the local point of contact for M&R team for any task requiring in-person presence in Las Vegas
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Proficiency with Google Workspace is required; experience with event ticketing platforms (e.g., Leap) is a plus
- Must be comfortable remaining focused in fast-paced environments
- Must be adaptable to a wide and varied range of assignments
IDEAL PROFICIENCIES:
- Experience working on advertising/promotional campaigns
- Basic familiarity of marketing concepts, metrics, and terminology (e.g., impressions, CPM, seasonality, etc.)
- Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively toward a defined outcome or objective
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and positive attitude
- Strong networking skills and relationships with key local contacts, vendors, and organizations
EXPERIENCE:
- At least two (2) years experience working in advertising/marketing/promotions, events, service/hospitality, or travel/tourism industries
- Familiarity with essential systems and platforms, including Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Monday.com preferred
- Experience in entertainment, attractions, live events, experiential environments, or hospitality is a plus
