CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer position for our client.

Location: San Antonio, TX
Duration: 9 months

Duties:

• Design, develop, test, and support enterprise applications using Java/JEE and web technologies.

• Develop applications using Java frameworks and languages such as Ruby and Groovy.

• Implement enterprise application components, transaction management, Java objects, and enterprise system integrations.

• Apply dependency injection, inversion of control, aspect-oriented programming, functional programming, and data access principles.

• Develop batch processing solutions and automated tests using test-driven development practices.

• Support DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and application maintenance.

Skills & Experience:

• Professional experience developing and supporting enterprise applications using Java/JEE and web technologies.

• Experience with Java frameworks, enterprise architectures, data access, transaction management, and system integration.

• Knowledge of Ruby and/or Groovy, dependency injection, inversion of control, aspect-oriented programming, and functional programming.

• Experience with test-driven development, automated testing, batch processing, and DevOps/CI/CD practices.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
