Summary/Objective
The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the technology systems used at the organization including the Venue Management System – Momentus Enterprise. This role is responsible for implementation, administration, configuration, optimization, training, and ongoing support of the organization’s business system. It is also a critical liaison between all business units that interact with the venue management system, ensuring technology solutions effectively support current operational requirements and evolving business needs.
The incumbent is responsible for collaborating with individuals throughout the organization to understand business needs, while exhibiting an exceptional ability to understand how to support those needs through technology solutions. A high level of customer service, training facilitation and ability to communicate well throughout all organization levels is required.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Demonstrates understanding and full performance ability in each of the following:
- Serve as the primary business/technology administrator and subject matter expert for Momentus Enterprise.
- Oversee configuration, monitoring, and daily maintenance of the organizations Venue Management System – Momentus Enterprise
- Create training materials, user guides, training presentations, system SOPs, and other documentation, and deliver ongoing user training for the business system.
- Assists with creating and reinforcing system standard operating procedures and best practices.
- Respond to user support requests; troubleshoot issues; gather relevant information; document resolution steps in IT knowledgebase; and communicate resolutions to users and other stakeholders.
- Stay current on IT trends, training, including Venue Management System Management- (Momentus Enterprise) features and upgrades, documents use cases for using those features, test the use cases in the test environment and communicate the features and coordinate coordinates actual deployment.
- Identifies opportunities to improve business system utilization and enhance system capabilities, including reporting, dashboards, analytics, data integration, and process automation
- Serve as the first point of contact for Momentus Enterprise questions and issues, working with internal team members and the system vendor to troubleshoot and resolve system-related problems.
- Using systems best practices, maintain system compliance, data security, and privacy requirements.
- Coordinates with all internal departments and external vendors on assigned system changes, ticket resolutions, updates, and support issues.
- Assist with other IT department workflows including event technology activation, Exhibitor services Center management, and IT support.
- Performs other duties as required.

Work Environment
This position may have a moderate to extensive stress level associated with dealing with crowds of public visitors. The environment is fast paced, mainly indoors, however position may be required to work outdoors and exposed to the elements (heat, rain, etc.).
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.Ability to lift up to 40lbs with or without assistance, while maintaining good balance. Must be flexible enough to reach above shoulder level and be able to push and pull for brief periods of time.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position; hours of work must be flexible and varied to meet the demands of the events of the facility. Must be able to work extended and/or irregular hours including day, nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Required Education and Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in ERP business system administration. Strong preference for Momentus Enterprise or Momentus Elite.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, Business Administration, or related field preferred or equivalent technical or professional experience related to venue management software systems.
- Verifiable Experience as IT Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar technical analyst role
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an end user training role.
- SQL and Report Writer experience, as well as knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as JavaScript, JSON, XML preferred.
- Valid state driver’s license.

- Ability to interact with vendors and clients in coordinating additional services and equipment needs.
