# Security Guard **Pay:** $17.50 per hour **Schedule:** Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM-6:00 PM or 10:00 PM-6:00 AM **Location:** Onsite at a Logistics Warehouse **Position Type:** Full-Time We are currently seeking a dependable and responsible **Security Guard** to provide security coverage at a logistics warehouse. This position will primarily be stationed in the facility’s **guard shack** and is responsible for helping maintain a safe, secure, and professional environment throughout the shift. Previous security experience is preferred, but it is **not required**. We are willing to consider reliable candidates who demonstrate strong judgment, professionalism, and a commitment to showing up on time and ready to work. ## Responsibilities * Maintain security presence at the facility’s guard shack. * Monitor employees, visitors, vendors, trucks, and other individuals entering or exiting the property. * Verify access and follow established check-in/check-out procedures. * Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, or security logs as required. * Monitor the property for suspicious activity, safety concerns, or unauthorized access. * Report unusual activity, incidents, or security concerns to the appropriate supervisor. * Conduct routine checks or patrols of designated areas when required. * Follow all warehouse safety and security procedures. * Maintain a professional and alert presence throughout the entire shift. * Communicate clearly with warehouse management, drivers, employees, and visitors. * Complete incident reports or other required documentation when necessary. ## Requirements Candidates must be: * **Responsible and dependable.** * **Punctual and consistently able to arrive for scheduled shifts on time.** * Ready to work and remain attentive throughout the shift. * Able to work independently with minimal supervision. * Professional when communicating with employees, drivers, visitors, and management. * Able to follow instructions, security procedures, and company policies. * Comfortable working overnight hours. * Able to remain alert during periods of limited activity. * Capable of handling situations calmly and professionally. * Able to reliably work the scheduled **Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-6:00 PM or 10:00 PM-6:00 AM** ## Experience Previous experience in **security, warehouse security, gatehouse security, logistics, loss prevention, or a related field is preferred but not required.** Training will be provided for the right candidate. ## What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who takes attendance and responsibility seriously.
