Applied Composites (AC) is seeking a Senior Project Manager who will while drive the successful execution and implementation of projects, within a business unit. Plans, organizes, and manages all activities necessary to ensure the successful completion of assigned project within established objectives. Oversees project life cycle and ensures results meet requirements regarding quality, reliability, scheduling, and cost.

Job Accountabilities:

• Facilitates timely decisions to maintain project schedule and budget, while providing metric updates to management
• Monitors project budgets: reviewing reports and project expenses to determine if allocated funds have been spent as specified
• Follows established guidelines to manage completion of project milestones from beginning to end of lifecycle
• Identifies project risks and provides solutions to minimize/eliminate risks, monitoring key project processes for compliance with objectives
• Responsible for internal distribution of all project related documentation for review and revisions as required
• Builds strong relationships with customers and develops a deep understanding of their objectives
• Leads and directs work for team of employees as defined by business needs
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Job Specifications:

Education: Post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
Years’ Experience: 7 - 10 years of relevant experience
Skills:

• Solid experience in project management methodology
• Possess a strong technical background to understand and evaluate the technical specifications, requirements and capabilities associated with the project
• Ability to adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking capabilities along with ability to interface with cross-functional disciplines; using excellent interpersonal skills to drive tasks to completion
• Self-motivated with problem solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to develop clear and detailed plans
