This role is well suited to a motivated healthcare professional who enjoys working directly with customers and making a meaningful impact on patient care.

Accountabilities

  • Partner closely with Territory Managers and Clinical Consultants to develop opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and increase product utilization.

  • Support the sales process by coordinating with sales and business development colleagues, leading product demonstrations, and securing engagement from key clinical decision-makers.

  • Provide post-purchase education and training to healthcare teams to promote effective and appropriate product use.

  • Attend major extracorporeal life support and relevant national professional meetings as needed, representing the therapy and supporting industry engagement.

  • Develop and cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders interested in acute circulatory support and extracorporeal life support.

  • Educate sales and clinical colleagues on products, emerging trends, competitive considerations, and developments in acute circulatory support.

  • Contribute to broader business initiatives, including competitive selling strategies, product development feedback, sales-support materials, and customer education programs.

  • Collaborate effectively with clinical, training and education, marketing, technical support, management, and territory teams.

  • Maintain compliance with applicable industry standards and guidelines, protect confidential information, and responsibly manage company equipment and resources.

  • Operate effectively from a home office while managing customer communications, administrative responsibilities, and regional travel.

  • Maintain a strong focus on customer needs, clinical excellence, ethical business practices, and helping healthcare professionals improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience identifying and developing new business opportunities and successfully selling in a competitive environment.

  • Experience working within a team-selling model and collaborating with sales colleagues to secure customer adoption.

  • Ability to navigate complex healthcare environments and work effectively with clinicians who have different roles, priorities, communication styles, and objectives.

  • Strong ability to train, educate, and motivate clinical staff on specialized products and therapies.

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, presentation, and collaboration skills.

  • High motivation and a strong desire to support healthcare professionals and improve patient care.

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with regional and cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to work effectively from a home office and independently manage administrative and communication responsibilities.

  • Valid driving record and willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.

  • Awareness of and adherence to applicable medical-device industry guidelines, including AdvaMed principles.
