Marketing Lead/ Head of B2B Marketing in United States at Jobgether
Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Marketing Lead / Head of B2B Marketing based in the United States.
The Marketing Lead / Head of B2B Marketing will define and lead the B2B marketing strategy for an innovative performance advertising business operating at the intersection of creativity, technology, and AI. This role offers the opportunity to shape market positioning, establish category leadership, and build a scalable marketing engine that drives enterprise growth. Working closely with executive leadership, Sales, Partnerships, and technology teams, you will translate complex solutions into compelling customer value propositions. You will own go-to-market strategy, demand generation, product marketing, and commercial performance measurement. Initially operating as a senior, hands-on individual contributor, you will have substantial autonomy to set priorities and influence business strategy. As results demonstrate measurable impact, you will help expand marketing capabilities and build a team to support continued growth.
As the strategic owner of B2B marketing, you will establish the positioning, programs, and processes needed to increase market visibility, generate qualified opportunities, and support enterprise revenue growth. Your responsibilities will include:
Positioning, brand, and category leadership: Define the brand positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation. Develop a compelling narrative around performance creative infrastructure, AI-enabled capabilities, and outcome-based advertising models, while establishing thought leadership on creative performance and emerging advertising approaches.
Enterprise go-to-market strategy and demand generation: Own the B2B marketing strategy, priorities, budget, and performance metrics. Develop integrated campaigns across paid and organic channels, content, email, events, partnerships, and account-based marketing. Collaborate with Sales to define ideal customer profiles, prioritize strategic accounts, and connect marketing investment to qualified pipeline, opportunity progression, and revenue.
Industry-specific marketing: Develop tailored marketing programs for enterprise advertisers in healthcare, financial services, and other regulated industries, adapting messaging and go-to-market approaches to their needs.
Product and solutions marketing: Partner with executive leadership, technology, and operations teams to shape product positioning, packaging, launches, platform partnerships, and commercial models. Translate proprietary technology, AI workflows, creative testing, and production infrastructure into clear, measurable customer benefits.
Customer storytelling and sales enablement: Turn performance data and customer outcomes into compelling case studies, proof points, and industry-specific narratives. Create executive presentations, sales materials, proposals, and content for CMOs, growth leaders, media executives, agencies, and procurement stakeholders.
Industry presence and strategic partnerships: Increase brand visibility through industry events, executive thought leadership, public relations, and strategic partnerships. Build relationships with industry publications, analysts, advertising platforms, and relevant professional communities.
Marketing operations and team development: Establish the marketing function's operating cadence, measurement framework, and scalable processes. Manage external agencies and contractors where appropriate, remain hands-on in execution, and recommend future hires or specialist support as demonstrated ROI and business needs justify investment.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate brings extensive B2B marketing experience, a strong understanding of performance advertising, and a proven ability to turn strategic marketing initiatives into measurable commercial outcomes. You should be comfortable building a function from the ground up, influencing senior stakeholders, and combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Key qualifications include:
8+ years of B2B marketing experience, with ownership of marketing strategy and demonstrable commercial results.
Strong experience in advertising platforms, AdTech, demand-side platforms (DSPs), marketing technology, or similarly sophisticated solutions sold to brands and agencies.
Deep understanding of paid social, performance advertising, agency relationships, and enterprise advertiser buying decisions.
Proven success developing brand positioning, product marketing, go-to-market strategies, and demand-generation programs that contribute to qualified pipeline and revenue.
Ability to translate complex technology, advertising infrastructure, and commercial models into clear, compelling customer value propositions.
Excellent writing, storytelling, presentation, and executive communication skills.
Confidence working with senior Sales and executive leaders, challenging assumptions constructively, and influencing strategic decisions.
A builder's mindset, with the ability to prioritize effectively, test new approaches, measure outcomes, and execute with limited initial resources.
Particularly relevant experience includes:
Building or scaling B2B marketing at an AdTech company, DSP, measurement platform, or marketing infrastructure business.
Marketing to enterprise advertisers and advertising holding companies, including navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
Developing ecosystem or partnership marketing initiatives involving major advertising platforms such as Meta, Google, AppLovin, TikTok, or Snap.
Marketing to regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, and insurance.
Creating differentiated category narratives that challenge established business models and introduce new approaches to the market.
Benefits:
Opportunity to define a new category and challenge traditional agency economics through a business model tied to advertiser performance.
Work with differentiated creative infrastructure, technology, performance data, and measurable customer results.
Exposure to the intersection of AI, creativity, and advertising.
Direct influence over market positioning, growth strategy, and commercial priorities.
Significant autonomy and ownership in a senior, hands-on marketing role.
Opportunity to build and expand the marketing team as results and business needs support further investment.
