You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution, stability, and continuous improvement of SAP-enabled clinical supply chain workflows, directly impacting the delivery of clinical trial materials. The position combines hands-on systems support, process ownership, and cross-functional collaboration across IT, quality, and clinical operations teams. You will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping translate operational needs into system enhancements and process improvements. - Manage end-to-end clinical supply chain processes within SAP/ERP environments, ensuring system readiness and operational stability for clinical trial execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clinical supply chain system issues, coordinating with IT teams to troubleshoot incidents, manage ServiceNow tickets, and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor and analyze system performance issues such as iDoc failures, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions in collaboration with technical and business teams.
- Lead or support change management activities, including documentation, audit readiness, and maintenance of clinical supply chain system requirements.
- Gather business needs and translate them into formal business requirements (BRDs) to support system enhancements and process improvements.
- Support implementation of system enhancements, including project planning, testing, validation, defect resolution, and end-user change management activities.
- Develop and execute test scripts, coordinate data preparation, and ensure validation of system upgrades and new functionality.
- Support training activities for clinical OTC and/or Plan-to-Stock processes across cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years, master’s degree with 2+ years, or equivalent experience in SAP or information systems within supply chain or clinical environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP supply chain modules, particularly Order-to-Cash and Plan-to-Stock processes.
- Experience working with clinical supply chain systems, ERP environments, or investigational product management workflows.
- Familiarity with system integration tools, including ServiceNow (ISM) and related IT service management platforms.
- Strong understanding of supply chain data flows, including iDocs, staging tables, and system interfaces.
- Experience with validation testing, quality systems, and regulated environments such as clinical or pharmaceutical supply chains.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex system issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across IT, operations, and business teams.
- Project management experience and familiarity with tools such as Smartsheet is highly desirable.
- Competitive annual salary range of approximately $105,010 – $142,073 depending on experience and location.
