Description:

Madison Park Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and operationally driven Chief Executive Officer / Nursing Facility Administrator to lead the strategic, clinical, financial, and operational success of our long-term care community in West Virginia.

This executive leader will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, workforce leadership, regulatory compliance, financial performance, resident satisfaction, and organizational culture while promoting a resident-centered and team-focused environment.

The ideal candidate is an experienced healthcare leader who demonstrates strong operational oversight, leadership presence, accountability, and a passion for improving the quality of life for residents and employees alike.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall operational leadership and oversight of the community, including clinical operations, support services, and business performance.
  • Lead, develop, coach, and manage department leaders and staff to support accountability, engagement, and organizational success.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, employment laws, and company policies.
  • Monitor quality assurance initiatives, survey readiness, resident care outcomes, and operational performance metrics.
  • Oversee staffing, recruitment, retention, employee relations, and workforce development initiatives to support staffing stability and employee morale.
  • Manage community budgets, labor management, financial operations, and business practices to support fiscal responsibility and operational efficiency.
  • Promote a culture of professionalism, customer service, teamwork, and resident-centered care throughout the organization.
  • Conduct regular operational rounds to monitor resident care, staff performance, safety, cleanliness, and overall community operations.
  • Support marketing, census development, and community outreach initiatives to strengthen occupancy and community relationships.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, regulatory agencies, referral partners, and the surrounding community.
  • Lead process improvement and operational initiatives that enhance resident experience, employee engagement, and organizational performance.
  • Provide leadership and guidance during regulatory surveys and ensure corrective action and compliance efforts are maintained.
Requirements:

Current/active wv state Nursing Home Administrator license.

Current/active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License or obtained within twelve (12) months after date of hire, unless currently an active licensed clinician in the state.

Minimum of three (3) years related experience and one (1) to two (2) years management/supervisory experience.

Effective verbal and written English communication skills.

Sense of ownership of work product an outcome.

Advanced critical thinking skills

Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet and Intranet navigation.

Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.

Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity and sense of urgency.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions.

Ability to deal with new tasks without the benefit of written procedures.

Approachable, flexible and adaptable to change.

Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with employees and vendors.

Physical and Sensory Requirements:

Moderate physical activity:

Requires handling of average-weight objects up to twenty-five (25) pounds.

Standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.

Sitting for more than two (2) hours at a time.

Requires consistent computer work with repetitive typing and concentrating on computer screen.
