Community Resources for Justice (CRJ) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to changing lives and strengthening communities through direct service, advocacy, and innovation. We operate across four core service lines:
- Community Strategies (CS): Supporting adults with developmental disabilities to live independently and thrive in their communities. Providing a range of top-quality residential and non-residential programs for men and women with intellectual or developmental disabilities in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. - Family Reentry (FRE): At Family Reentry, we address the often-intertwining problems of behavioral health, domestic violence, reentry, recidivism, and risks to youth by offering evidence-based interventions to provide support and effect positive change. We offer a holistic approach by working to connect clients to basic needs and offering support to create change and increase stronger coping and life skills.

About the role
This position is responsible for the provision of a wide range of clinical and clinically related duties for residents of Dana’s House. The position will support, and work in concert with, the program’s licensed clinician(s), and may assist with program audits in certain matters as assigned. This is a full-time, 40-hours per week position that is benefits eligible.
What you'll do
- Provides transitional and ongoing clinical and clinical case management services, including assessments, individual treatment plans, referrals and discharge plans; may provide group and individual counseling, as well as other clinical and clinical case management services for residents
- Assists with discharge planning and community referrals
- Coordinates clinical case management services with a variety of community-based service providers including areas of housing, employment, and family reunification; screens and ensures clients eligibility for Medicaid, Medicare and other benefits, including but not limited to SSI and SSID
- Conduct assessments
- Make referrals for additional services and supports as needed
- Conducts urinalysis
- Adheres to best practices related to gender responsive and trauma informed strategies
- Assists in the development of adequate data management protocols
- Under the direction of the Program Director may conduct regular and randomized audits to ensure staff compliance with program’s policies and practices related to the Supervision of Medication Self-Administration, and Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA)
- Recommend and implement changes in medication protocols, including training and documentation to better meet the needs of residents
- Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with DOC personnel and community partners
- May supervise interns and volunteers as directed by Program Director
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Must be able to track and organize data
- Must be able to determine and track multiple client needs
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to speak Spanish a plus.
Required Education and Experience:
- Masters Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Human Services or related field
- Provisional License: LMSW preferred or LPCA
- Minimum of two years of experience in the field of behavioral health.

Travel requirements:
- Some Travel: some work may be performed within correctional custodial setting, as well as community location
