GOLF SHOP ASSISTANT Part Time

As a Golf Shop Assistant at The Cliffs, you will be a key member of an extraordinary team that strives daily to exceed members’ expectations. We are growing communities where career and growth opportunities are endless. This is a part time position.
Basic Qualifications:
- Consistently emulate the "Go First" culture with all other employees, leaders, members, guests.
- Participate in weekly meetings with the management team and communicate with other team members regarding policies and standards.
- Register golfers for daily and tournament play.
- Assist members with tee times.
- Create a positive experience for each customer - provide excellent customer service & sales advice.
- Be able to self-direct and work in a team environment.
- Assist members and guests with sale of golf shop merchandise.
- Assist golf professional staff with month end inventories.
- Golf experience or knowledge of the game is required.
- Proficient in computer applications including Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Retail/Point-of-Sale Software.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess the ability to drive a battery-operated golf cart, following safety guidelines.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to withstand a range of outside weather conditions (heat/cold, rain/snow, etc.)
- Must be able to withstand prolonged exposure to sunlight.
