What You'll Do
As a Physical Therapist, you'll play a vital role in supporting residents' mobility, strength, balance, and overall quality of life by:
• Performing evaluations, assessments, reassessments, and developing individualized treatment plans
• Providing skilled physical therapy services to residents in an outpatient, independent living, and assisted living environment
• Educating residents, families, and team members on therapy techniques and wellness strategies
• Documenting clinical services accurately and timely according to departmental standards
• Demonstrating sound clinical judgment and evidence-based treatment practices
• Supervising and mentoring Physical Therapist Assistants, Rehab Technicians, and therapy students
• Reviewing PTA documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Screening residents to identify opportunities for therapy intervention
• Participating in wellness and rehabilitation programming that promotes resident independence
• Attending required meetings, training, and continuing education opportunities
• Contributing to a culture of safety, service excellence, and teamwork

What We're Looking For
• Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas
• Experience working with older adults in Independent Living, Assisted Living, Outpatient Therapy, Wellness, or related settings preferred
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of therapy regulations and best practices
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, resident-focused environment
• Basic computer proficiency, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• A genuine passion for helping older adults achieve their highest level of function and independence
**Final compensation within the listed pay range will be based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, and will align with our established pay scale.**
Work schedule 30-40 hours per week.
