Job Description
The Prefab Manager leads all off‑site prefabrication efforts for cleanroom construction projects, ensuring assemblies are produced accurately, delivered efficiently, and installed seamlessly in the field. This role manages planning, coordination, production oversight, and quality control for all prefabricated cleanroom components, supporting project teams in delivering high‑performance controlled environments.
Core ResponsibilitiesPrefab Strategy Development — Establish prefabrication plans, production schedules, and sequencing aligned with project milestones and cleanroom classification requirements.
Design & BIM Coordination — Work closely with design teams, engineers, and VDC/BIM groups to convert design intent into buildable prefab packages.
Production Management — Oversee fabrication of wall systems, ceiling grids, mechanical/electrical racks, and modular cleanroom assemblies.
Quality Control — Implement and enforce QA/QC standards to ensure all components meet ISO 14644, GMP, and project‑specific tolerances.
Logistics & Delivery — Coordinate packaging, labeling, staging, and just‑in‑time delivery to support efficient installation and minimize contamination risk.
Field Integration Support — Partner with site teams to ensure prefab components install correctly and align with field conditions.
Vendor & Supplier Oversight — Manage external fabrication partners, ensuring compliance with technical, schedule, and cleanliness requirements.
Cost & Schedule Tracking — Monitor production progress, material usage, and labor efficiency to maintain budget and schedule performance.
Continuous Improvement — Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance prefab productivity.
Technical Education — Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
Prefab or Modular Experience — 3–7 years of experience in prefabrication, modular construction, or manufacturing.
Cleanroom Knowledge — Understanding of ISO cleanroom classifications, GMP requirements, and controlled‑environment construction.
Project Leadership — Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage schedules, and coordinate across disciplines.
Software Proficiency — Experience with BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks), scheduling platforms, and digital QA systems.
