Full-time Occupational Medicine Medical Assistant or Healthcare Tech in - Bagdad, AZ

Gila Health Resources, a provider of occupational medicine and certified employment health screening services at multiple sites throughout the Southwest, is actively recruiting for a full-time Medical Assistant/Healthcare Tech for its Bagdad, AZ clinic.

This position includes rooming patients; conducting, recording and reporting: vitals, audiometric, vision, pulmonary function, respirator-use, functional capacity and fit-for-duty testing; and certified drug and alcohol testing, as well as intake tasks, including greeting patients, providing and processing paperwork, setting appointments, answering phones, etc. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service, interpersonal communication, electronic health system data entry, and patient skills, have the ability to work as a reliable member of a high-performing healthcare team, the ability to follow detailed protocols, meet deadlines, and be punctual.

Certified and non-certified MAs are preferred. We will also accept applications from experienced Healthcare Technicians.

The hourly pay-rate for this position starts at $17.00. A higher rate will be considered for qualified applicants with proven experience.

Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a post-offer drug and alcohol test and a successful background check. Following employment, all employees are required to comply with GHR’s random and for-cause employee drug and alcohol testing policy.
