Jill’s House is a Christian non-profit organization and auxiliary ministry of McLean Bible Church that loves and serves families raising children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 6-22) with intellectual disabilities through short-term overnight respite care and holistic family support services. Jill’s House is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and engaging Program Manager to provide leadership and oversight for our Weekend Program with excellence, joy, and Christ-centered care.
The ideal candidate for this role is a servant-leader who can build trust, drive culture, and inspire a team to serve with care and excellence. Additionally, the ideal candidate for this role will find enjoyment in motivating, coaching, and influencing others toward strong team performance, accountability, and consistent program execution.

In this role, you'll help ensure that our Weekend Program creates a safe, joyful, and well-organized environment for our clients that is aligned with our mission. Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Leading the day-to-day execution of the Tysons Weekend Program Supervising, coaching, and developing Direct Support ProfessionalsSupporting staff during client care routines, behavior support, documentation, and urgent program needsHelping ensure excellent, person-centered care for the individuals we serveCommunicating with parents/guardians, external partners, and internal teamsPartnering with the AVP of Programs, Respite Care Team, Nursing Team, Human Resources, and other colleagues to ensure consistency and excellenceSupporting documentation, compliance, training, staff development, and continuous program improvementServing as a culture leader for the direct care team by modeling Jill’s House’s mission, values, and guiding principles
What we're looking for:
We are looking for a leader who is compassionate, organized, and energized by leading by example to develop others and strengthen program quality. The ideal candidate will know how to motivate a team, create accountability, lead through change, and help staff deliver excellent, person-centered care.
Qualified candidates will have:
- Experience working with children or adults with intellectual disabilitiesStrong knowledge of behavior support strategies and person-centered careDemonstrated experience managing multiple direct reportsStrong coaching, communication, and staff development skillsThe ability to encourage and model Christ-centered engagement The ability to remain calm, focused, and directive in emergency or escalated situationsStrong organizational, problem-solving, leadership, and time management skillsFlexibility to adjust work availability as program needs shift, including some evenings and weekendsA willingness to partner across teams and support the needs of the ministryA commitment to affirming the McLean Bible Church Vision/Values and Standards of Christian Conduct
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and two years of demonstrated professional excellence, with at least one year working with children or adults with disabilities; orHigh school diploma with two years of demonstrated professional excellence and at least three years working with children or adults with disabilities in a residential setting.At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory, leadership, or management role.At least one year of experience working with children or adults with varying disabilities is required.
